Stand for Baritone Saxophone

Rest asured, this massive stand is going to carry your baritone with ease. Firstly, it is fitted with a finely sculpted, quarter-inch steel wall plate to attach to your wall. Its main bracket is perfectly shaped for the odd 8 inches bell size of your Baritone, and the rest is made of flat bar that will not budge! The bow support is adjustable for positioning purposes. Both brackets are padded with high-friction rubber which is durable and easy to maintain.

This stand is not going to fall over! And having it on the wall, ready for action may very well inspire you to play more and practice more! Bonus: saves space and prevents accidents, frustration, stress, and repair bills! Order now and enjoy the view!

Specs:

As you may see in the pics, the bow-support can be put in three positions in case you want to alter the angle of your bari in the stand. Your valves or valve guard will never be in the way. The upper bracket has a 6 mm. steel core welded firmly on the saxstand's body. This allows for some lateral adjustment to obtain a perfect fit. For padding we use a high friction rubber tubing, firmly resisting any movement your saxophone may want to make. The decorative wall plate has a thickness of 5 mm. and 4 holes for solid mounting. Wallplugs, screws, are supplied as usual, as well as black screw covers for that finishing touch!

Mounting instructions

First, please check if the bell of your saxophone fits properly into the padded fork. As it is right now it will fit most bari's nicely, but there are different bell sizes.

If it doesn’t lower into the top bracket as far as you would like, you can pull it apart or push it together slightly and carefully by hand. Do not put in a vice or use tools on it since that could damage the stand.
The bow support is adjustable to keep it from interfering with keys or protection brackets, but may also be used to slightly alter the angle of your instrument once the stand is mounted.

This particular stand is designed  to be mounted with the diamond shaped wall-plate straight up, but of course you may deviate a bit if you like. To mount it, you can put in the top screw first, straighten it out with one hand, and mark the other holes and put the screws in.

Especially with drywall it is of utmost importance to find a spot that offers solid footing for the screws, and has a stud or beam directly behind it. For stone walls you will have to drill holes  with a ¼ inch drill bit and insert the wallplugs and screws. The little caps are to cover the screws. Put hem on the tip of your forefinger and place them over the screw’s head. Then, with a twisting movement of your finger feel for their proper position over the slot, then just push them in. Use some glue if all else fails.

If you use a cordless drill for the screws, make sure its chuck doesn’t damage the coating on the stand.

If for some reason you are not sure how or where to mount it, please contact us or get some professional help!

To keep the rubber in good shape you could occasionally put a little bit of silicone spray on a soft cloth and give it a gentle rub.

Materials

Fine steel and high friction rubber, plastic knob and finishing caps.

Care Instructions

To keep the rubber in good shape you could occasionally rub it with a dash of silicone spray and a microfibre cloth. This also keeps its color dark and lush.
