This very compact wallmount is nothing short of perfect to support your trombone, and keep it perfectly safe, and nicely on display. It is made from solid steel and fit for tenor and bass trombones!
Mount it anywhere you see fit, away from all that goes on at ground level, like playing kids kids, pets etc. With the slide unlocked and dropping into the lower bracket, the whole instrument is locked in the stand. Lifting it out you'll automaticly lock the slide again so no surprises there.

I used four Locoparasaxo stands to set up all four of of my trombones on my staircase. Much cleaner and prettier than floor-mounted stands, and I got a lot of floor space back! The stands are really solid and well-made: I am pretty sure I could hang from one of these stands myself and it would hold my body weight fine (though I didn't try it!).
I'd note that the width of this stand is optimized for a smaller trombone—it fits my King 2B very snugly—but works okay, if a little less tight, for my larger tenor and bass. The finger trigger on my bass remains to the right and slightly behind the prongs on the stand, though this may not work for all bass trombones depending on how your second attachment paddle is shaped. One tip: follow the Locoparasaxo instructions regarding installation with one screw first, then rotating the stand with the instrument on it before inserting the other two screws——my bass, large tenor, and alto all have curved hand braces which means I needed to angle the stand a few degrees away from vertical (see photo, bottom left) to get the trombone to lie straight up and down... especially for the heavier bass. There could be room in the design for wider or specially shaped prongs to better accommodate different types of trombone (impractical when manufacturing these in small batches, though, I imagine), but the build quality is excellent and as you can see, the Trombone Stand Shorty suspends a wide range of trombones just fine. Very satsifying purchase.
The round wall plate has a thickness of 3 mm. and the same number of holes for solid mounting. Wallplugs, screws, are supplied as usual, as well as black screw covers for that finishing touch!

To keep the rubber in good shape you could occasionally rub it with a dash of silicone spray and a microfibre cloth. This also keeps its color dark and lush.

Lowering the barrier to entry for practice makes me play more and mounting my trombones on the wall in my office where I can just pick them up in seconds has made a significant difference.
